Our home is always full of life, and we can thank our wonderful Activities Coordinators for this. Dedication to creating a unique and interesting activities programme is what sets us apart from other homes. We always take into consideration that some people would prefer to pursue their own interests, which is why our team strive to incorporative activities that cater to a wide range of tastes and hobbies. Our trips out are always fun and exciting as well, and residents are guaranteed to return with stories to tell their loved ones!

I started working for Barchester in October 2020. The team here at Hampton Grove have made me feel welcome. No day is ever the same here.
My varied daily activities and events help to create a stimulating engagement programme to enhance the quality of life for each resident within the home.

Festive Baking Fun
Yesterday we were getting festive with decorating our shortbread made by our kitchen team, ready for our afternoon tea. They looked and tasted great.
Peterborough's Prince Charming in Panto
Today we took some residents to see Peterborough's longest running traditional family pantomime is back for 2021. Cinderella is the famous fairytale of a poor working girl who becomes a princess for a night.
Finding true love with Prince Charming at a grand ball, her magical story is one of rags to riches then rags again. Once the clock strikes midnight and her magical spell is broken, will Cinders and Prince Charming be reunited? Will she overcome her overbearing ugly sisters? What's more, will there be some delicious ice cream in the interval?
The residents had a great time at the Key Theatre. Being out and enjoying live entertainment again has been really beneficial to both the physical and mental well-being of our residents. We had an absolute blast, with lots of singing and laughter.

17 days to go until Christmas Day. With it getting closer to the big day, the residents and staff are starting to get really excited!
