Our home is always full of life, and we can thank our wonderful Activities Coordinators for this. Dedication to creating a unique and interesting activities programme is what sets us apart from other homes. We always take into consideration that some people would prefer to pursue their own interests, which is why our team strive to incorporative activities that cater to a wide range of tastes and hobbies. Our trips out are always fun and exciting as well, and residents are guaranteed to return with stories to tell their loved ones!

I started working for Barchester in October 2020. The team here at Hampton Grove have made me feel welcome. No day is ever the same here.
My varied daily activities and events help to create a stimulating engagement programme to enhance the quality of life for each resident within the home.

Life at Hampton Grove Care Home
Ventriloquist Show
Our residents were totally mesmerized by the wonderful puppetry performance from Trish-Music Magic with her ventriloquist show this weekend. The group were so funny, they had our residents giggling throughout the act.
Fun for all Abilities
Over the weekend our residents have enjoyed a little light exercise; throwing some hoops with our in-house basket ball net, exploring the world via our virtual reality headsets and getting crafting in our needlework class.
It's been fun for all abilities.
Resident Flower Arranging
Beautiful flowers care of our wonderful residents for each of our dining rooms. Thank you ladies they look and smell sensational!
Pop Bubble Fun!
Pop bubble fidgets have landed at Hampton Grove.
These sensory game boards offer endless fun and entertainment. By using the dice, players take turns pressing down the pop bubbles to the combined number thrown. The aim is to throw high for your opponent, whoever pushes the last one will lose the game!
Game over? Turnover and start again.
Our residents just love them, it’s tactile, promotes dexterity and stimulates the brain with all that adding up.
Employee of the Month - July 2021
Everyone at Hampton Grove took time today to congratulate Activities Coordinator; Lauren for receiving Employee of the Month - July 2021.
Lauren is always smiling, she's a friendly and happy young lady with a proactive team approach to all she does. Since joining Hampton Grove, her colleagues and the residents have commented she's kind, supportive and dedicated to enriching everyone’s life within her role.

Sunflower Planting
The Hampton Grove gardens are going to look sunny and bright once these sunflower seedlings have grown. Our residents had a lovely time planting them.
