Activities at Juniper House Care Home
Activities are the cornerstone of a wholesome home experience and our Activities Coordinators are always putting their creative minds to the test by organising new and exciting social events for residents to partake in. Of course, we take into account the likes and dislikes of those we support, so if someone doesn’t feel like trying something new, there will always be something on offer to reflect their personal interests. For the people who may just prefer some peace and quiet instead, we also offer one-to-one time that can be enjoyed with a nice cup of coffee or just a simple chat – whatever they desire.

Life at Juniper House Care Home
Juniper House receives vaccinations
Staff and residents at Juniper House have received their COVID-19 vaccine and we would like to say a huge THANK YOU to the Doctors and Nurses at Brackley Medical Centre for helping to vaccinate everyone and keep Brackley safe.

At Juniper House we are all saddened to hear the news of Captain Sir Tom Moore’s passing. He was such an inspiration to everyone at our care home - a beacon of hope and strength throughout this pandemic. He inspired residents and staff to complete a sponsored walk in November which raised over £300 for the Royal British Legion. He leaves such a legacy behind and our thoughts are with his family and friends at this difficult time. ‘For all those people who are finding it difficult at the moment: the sun will shine on you again and the clouds will go away.’ Captain Sir Tom Moore.
Enjoying Chocolate Cake Day
Happy International Chocolate Cake Day! Residents at Juniper House decorated their own individual chocolate cakes with delicious chocolate butter cream, sweets, sprinkles and more chocolate. Then we enjoyed them with our cup of tea. Delicious!
Celebrating Burns Night
Residents at Juniper house had a fantastic day celebrating Burns Night, with a traditional Scottish meal of haggis, neeps and tatties. Thank you to our Chefs and kitchen colleagues for serving a delicious meal.
Brackley Brass Band visits Juniper House
Thank you to the members of Brackley Brass Band who braved the rain to provide Juniper House residents with festive cheer from our garden.
MP, Andrea Leadsom, visits Juniper House
We would like to thank our local MP, Andrea Leadsom, for a wonderful Christmas visit to Juniper House. We were proud to show her our new Covid-safe visiting suite and she met with a resident to experience first hand how the suite helps to safely facilitate visits between residents and their loved ones. As with all our visitors, Andrea entered the suite through a garden door and social distancing was observed at all times.
