Activities at Juniper House Care Home

Activities are the cornerstone of a wholesome home experience and our Activities Coordinators are always putting their creative minds to the test by organising new and exciting social events for residents to partake in. Of course, we take into account the likes and dislikes of those we support, so if someone doesn’t feel like trying something new, there will always be something on offer to reflect their personal interests. For the people who may just prefer some peace and quiet instead, we also offer one-to-one time that can be enjoyed with a nice cup of coffee or just a simple chat – whatever they desire.

Life at Juniper House Care Home

International Nurses Day

Happy International Nurses Day from everyone at Juniper House! Thank you so much to our amazing, dedicated & hardworking Nursing Team for everything you do for residents, families & staff. The epitome of teamwork. We came together today to celebrate with a stunning cake made by our very talented Nurse Larisa.

Sensory Home Baking

Our lovely residents in Memory Lane made delicious chocolate Easter nests. We all particularly enjoyed eating them!

Delivering Easter Eggs

Juniper House staff were out & about over Easter delivering chocolate bunnies and delicious eggs to our friends and neighbours in the community and to the staff at Brackley Medical Centre.

Easter Egg Hunt

Staff and residents enjoyed the beautiful Easter Sunshine and took part in the annual Easter Egg Hunt in the grounds the Juniper House Garden.

Valentine's Day

We had a lovely time celebrating Valentine's Day. The residents got involved in a variety of themed activities and enjoyed baking and decorating cookies for the occasion.

Chinese New Year

Happy Chinese New Year! In recognition of the Year of the Tiger, here at Juniper House we spent time exploring the Chinese traditions and superstitions, and we created our own themed artwork on Memory Lane.
