Activities at Kings Park Care Home
Activities are an integral part of life at our care home. We want to ensure that the people we support have as much fun as possible during their time with us, so it’s important that our activities programme is created with the interests of residents in mind. Our skilled Activities Coordinators bring a certain uniqueness to the home that can’t be found anywhere else, and which is reflected in the activities they organise.

Life at Kings Park Care Home
Sunny Days
What a beautiful afternoon to spend some time on the patio in the sun. We are looking forward to spending many sunny days over our first summer enjoying our garden. There's even talk of a big Summer BBQ for residents and relatives....!
Eyes Down for Two Little Ducks and a Knock at the Door!
Everyone enjoyed a game or two of Bingo and also enjoyed their prizes.
Perhaps the most enjoyable part was making up our own sayings for the numbers!

What a lovely warm day to enjoy some outdoor games and enjoy an Afternoon Tea with a General Quiz in our gazebo!
Our Activities Coordinator, Kirsty, ensured we all made the very most of today’s weather and organised a packed day of outdoor fun.
Our Chefs baked some tasty homemade treats that were enjoyed by all along with some iced lemonade.
Busy Easter Weekend
It was a busy Easter weekend at Kings Park with sketching classes, card games, armchair exercises and the all important chocolate tasting session with our Chef, Gary!
With Spring now here and the sun shining, we are about to start planning our garden events and activities along with our mini-bus trips

Wow! What a fantastically tasty and stunning Simnel Cake our Chef made for Easter this year!
As ever, Ferndown Florists went all out with their special display and one of our Senior Carers, Heidi, made some super chocolate bouquets for our residents to pick and choose from!
