Activities at Kingswood Court Care Home

Activities are the cornerstone of a wholesome home experience, and our Activities Coordinators are always putting their creative minds to the test by organising new and exciting social events for residents to partake in. Of course, we take into account the likes and dislikes of those we support, so if someone doesn’t feel like trying something new, there will always be something on offer to reflect their personal interests. For the people who may just prefer some peace and quiet instead, we also offer one-to-one time that can be enjoyed with a nice cup of coffee or just a simple chat – whatever they desire.

Sarah Walton

Activity Coordinator

I have been working at Kingswood Court for 3 years, first as a carer and since 2022 as an activity coordinator.

I really enjoy making a difference to our residents’ life and organising events and activities for them. I like to involve the local community in events within the home. Activities at Kingswood Court are very varied: entertainers, singers, gentle exercise, arts and craft, outings, and so much more!

We are all embracing our new virtual world, and always thinking of ways we can make sure our residents are as social as possible. We invited a local band to zoom with us for a music concert. Everyone loved the event and we will make sure there will be lots more to come.

Valentines Celebrations

Lovely day celebrating Valentines day. Everyone had a special three course meal that was prepared and served by the chef. Followed by flowers and afternoon tea full of sweet treats and pots of tea.
