Our teams are trained to enrich the lives of residents through stimulating the mind, body and soul, and taking the time to learn about each person to ensure everyone receives support that adds enrichment to their life.
Our home is always full of life, and we can thank our wonderful Activities Coordinators for this. Dedication to creating a unique and interesting activities programme is what sets us apart from other homes. We always take into consideration that some people would prefer to pursue their own interests, which is why our team strive to incorporative activities that cater to a wide range of tastes and hobbies. Our trips out are always fun and exciting as well, and residents are guaranteed to return with stories to tell their loved ones!
Newton House Activities Team
Amanda, Sabrina, Karen and Jill make up our fantastic Activities Team here at Newton House. They develop and oversee an active living programme for each resident, which encourages mobility, social contact, independence and fun. Each and every person can thrive and live to their full potential with no day ever being the same. They bring great enthusiasm and spark to Newton House and have one passion, which is to deliver an amazing and vibrant activities programme to cater to all tastes and abilities.

As part of our bespoke life-enrichment programmes, we host a number of live virtual events in the home on a regular basis through a number of partnerships with places of interest and world class performance companies
Life at Newton House Care Home
London Fashion Week
Residents, families & staff came together for our first ever fashion show in celebration of London fashion week.
We absolutely love a bit of fancy dress at Newton House & this was the perfect opportunity to pull out all the stops & have fun with fancy dress.
With various props and costumes, it was time to strut our stuff on the catwalk!
There were lots of laughs as our crazy outfits were paraded for all to enjoy.
Such a fun day for all & who knows …. Vogue might just come knocking on Newton House's door soon!
Chinese New Year
We had a wonderful time celebrating Chinese New Year, the year of the snake!
With a fun Chinese New Year quiz, information sheet & tasting some delicious Chinese cuisine created a very fun, interesting & tasty afternoon!
Burns Night celebrations!
Residents enjoyed a Friendship Group to learn all about Burns night and enjoy some wonderful home made scottish food from the chef.
Happy Birthday Elvis...
The music legend ‘Elvis Presley’ would have today celebrated his 90th Birthday, to celebrate we decided to do what we do best at Newton House & throw a party!
Wish came true for Gail...
We started the amazing Barchester wish incentive at Newton House, as we made the beautiful Gail’s wish come true by visiting the zoo to see her favourite animal the ‘Giraffe’. Gail was so excited to see the Giraffe we plan on going back again.
Happy New Year
We have enjoyed a day of fun & togetherness as we celebrated the last day of what has been an incredible year at Newton House. Happy New Year.
