Activities at Newton House Care Home

Our home is always full of life, and we can thank our wonderful Activities Coordinators for this. Dedication to creating a unique and interesting activities programme is what sets us apart from other homes. We always take into consideration that some people would prefer to pursue their own interests, which is why our team strive to incorporative activities that cater to a wide range of tastes and hobbies. Our trips out are always fun and exciting as well, and residents are guaranteed to return with stories to tell their loved ones!

A day out at the Football

On Saturday 23rd February, Grantham Town FC, home to the ginger breads, were playing at home and the weather was beautiful. It was a great day for a bus trip to the local football match

We attended the match with 3 residents and 2 of their family members. We were given complementary tickets by Grantham Town FC and were lucky enough to see Grantham win 2-0!

Valentine's Day

On Valentine’s Day, our local PCSO and primary school's Mini Police came to visit us, and brought us lots of Valentine's cards! We played games and residents taught them dominoes. The kids were also very impressed to see 104 year old George playing his harmonica. We can’t wait for their next visit!
