Activities at Newton House Care Home

Our home is always full of life, and we can thank our wonderful Activities Coordinators for this. Dedication to creating a unique and interesting activities programme is what sets us apart from other homes. We always take into consideration that some people would prefer to pursue their own interests, which is why our team strive to incorporative activities that cater to a wide range of tastes and hobbies. Our trips out are always fun and exciting as well, and residents are guaranteed to return with stories to tell their loved ones!

Theatre Performance: Best of British

This week we were visited by a theatre company who came in to perform their 'The Best of British' play.

A trip to Kesteven Rideability

We took 6 residents to Kesteven Rideability – This was our second visit of the year and again proved a great success.

They had a fabulous time massaging and stroking the horses and learning more about them. One of the ladies who came with us was a keen rider in her early years and she enjoyed talking to the volunteers about this.

We watched the horses being turned out for the day and also enjoyed the company of the dogs whom live on the farm.

To top off a brilliant day we enjoyed some homemade cakes and a cup of tea in the glorious sunshine.

Picnic in the Park

Picnic in the Park
