Activities at Paternoster House Care Home
Our specialist activities staff are committed to organising a mix of activities and events for residents and the local community to get involved in, including trips out to local places of interest in our minibus and visits from entertainers and musicians. It is important to us that each individual who we support can get as much from these as possible, so we try our best to arrange activities that reflect their interests and capabilities as best as possible, and encourage them to participate in any way they can. We also encourage relatives to join with activities and events as often as they can.

The Memory Lane Sweet Shop
Something new has opened at Paternoster House!
Our brand new Memory Lane Sweet Shop was opened this week. Featuring a range of classic sweets and chocolates along with modern favourites, our sweet shop is located on our Memory Lane community.
The team and residents have spent weeks building, decorating and stocking the sweet shop and special thanks must go to the local community for donating a range of sweet-themed decorations and to EE for the Candy Canes.
Our sweet shop will be available for residents to go and choose some favourites, enjoy a cup of tea and a chat with friends. The shop has been designed as a relaxing social space. We opened today with glasses of bubbly for those involved in creating this fun addition to our home.
Early Christmas Gifts
The pupils at King Harold Primary School have been very generous and delivered all of these wonderful gift boxes for our residents. What a fantastic gesture at this time of year.
The residents of Paternoster House are overjoyed that there are so many people thinking of them this Christmas.
Thank you again to all involved and Merry Christmas.
Wonderful Gifts From Upshire Primary School
We were presented with a wonderful box of gifts by Upshire Primary School this morning.
The pupils at Upshire Primary have created a brilliant array of gifts for our residents including Christmas tree decorations, candles, sweets and artwork.
The residents and pupils have a lovely relationship and often write each other letters.
Thank you again and Merry Christmas to all.
Cheese And Wine Afternoon
You can't have cheese without the wine. Residents at Paternoster House enjoyed a selection of cheese and biscuits whilst getting into the Christmas spirit and listening to some good old Christmas carols. #16DaysTillChristmas
It's Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas!
