Activities at Rose Lodge Care Home
Our home is always full of life, and we can thank our wonderful Activities Coordinators for this. Dedication to creating a unique and interesting activities programme is what sets us apart from other homes. We always take into consideration that some people would prefer to pursue their own interests, which is why our team strive to incorporative activities that cater to a wide range of tastes and hobbies. Our trips out are always fun and exciting as well, and residents are guaranteed to return with stories to tell their loved ones!

Residents Christmas Fayre
We had a magical evening at the annual Christmas Fayre! The fabulous residents had a brilliant time immersing themselves in the festivities, enjoying the live music entertainment from Maria, and indulging in the most delicious treats from our amazing stall holders.
The atmosphere was electric, filled with laughter, joy, and the spirit of the holiday season. Our residents john Vera Jackie pat Elizabeth all said they had a lovely time and it was lovely to meet our mayor and Mayoress
A huge thank you goes out to our dedicated team for organising and supporting this fantastic event, We are immensely grateful to Mayor and Mayoress of Wisbech for their continuous support and fabulous company at the event. As well as everyone who supported and donated to our annual Christmas Raffle. Of course we'd like to say a huge thank you to the fantastic stall holders for joining us and making the event even more spectacular.
Christmas visit from our local nursery
Residents and staff had an amazing morning when the local nursery children visited us to perform their Christmas carols to us all. We all thought they did a spectacular job and we greatly appreciated their visit. We always love when the little ones come to visit us, as it's unique and meaningful each time. Everyone enjoyed some scrumptious biscuits and drinks during the sing along and thought it was just a perfect festive morning. Residents said they can remember going to their children’s school and listening to the carols they said it brought back lovely memories.
Meet The Reindeers
Across our homes we got into the Christmas spirit of things by joining a festive live virtual experience, led by Des and Kelly from Performing Pets.
Our residents were thrilled to meet the charming furry friends and get up close and personal with the reindeers. We certainly learnt some interesting facts about the animals and had a fantastic time.
Christmas Countdown
Residents started their count down to Christmas by making beautiful Christmas cards for loved ones and salt dough decorations in Arts & Crafts Club. Residents really enjoyed decorating and painting there salt dough and finished off with some lovely ribbon to hang on the Christmas tree. We thoroughly enjoyed catching up and chatting with each other while being creative. What a fantastic way to start Christmas!
A visit from the local nursey children
As part of our life enrichment program we like to keep connected with our local community. Residents enjoyed the morning with a lovely visit from our local nursery children we enjoyed going round the garden with the little ones and they fed the fish. The children joined our residents for lunch. Our head chef made fish fingers and chips and for desert children had ice cream. The little ones will be back to see us in December for some Christmas carols.
