Activities at Rose Lodge Care Home

Our home is always full of life, and we can thank our wonderful Activities Coordinators for this. Dedication to creating a unique and interesting activities programme is what sets us apart from other homes. We always take into consideration that some people would prefer to pursue their own interests, which is why our team strive to incorporative activities that cater to a wide range of tastes and hobbies. Our trips out are always fun and exciting as well, and residents are guaranteed to return with stories to tell their loved ones!

Jane Ritchie

Head of Activities

Hello, my name is Jane and I am the Activities Coordinator here at Rose Lodge and I have been here since 2010 .

My role is to engage and stimulate our residents by offering a range of activities for them to enjoy. I want to get everyone involved and make our home community and atmosphere as positive and welcoming as possible.

Making sure that our residents have things to do that they really enjoy doing is something that I am passionate about, It is so important to make sure that they are happy and enjoy all of the activities and events that we do with them. We enjoy creating new and special memories together.

Harvest Festival and Pumpkin Fun

We have been very busy here at Rose Lodge lately and would like to say a big thank you to everyone for your generous donations towards our Harvest Festival collection for Wisbech Foodbank.

It was amazing to welcome Rev Rob, Carol, Gabrielle and Keith from St Peter & St Paul’s Church - and thank you once again for the lovely service too! Our residents thoroughly enjoyed it

We have also been carving Pumpkins celebrating Ken’s Birthday and we also welcomed our little friends from Emneth Nursery for an intergenerational Art session. Marie said, “What a tremendous afternoon we’ve had together - some of the little ones are very talented and we certainly had lots of fun together!”
