Activities at Ross Court Care Home
Activities are the cornerstone of a wholesome home experience, and our Activities Coordinators are always putting their creative minds to the test by organising new and exciting social events for residents to partake in. Of course, we take into account the likes and dislikes of those we support, so if someone doesn’t feel like trying something new, there will always be something on offer to reflect their personal interests. For the people who may just prefer some peace and quiet instead, we also offer one-to-one time that can be enjoyed with a nice cup of coffee or just a simple chat – whatever they desire.

Life at Ross Court Care Home
Tour-de-Barchester
What a brilliant afternoon we had at Ross Court welcoming the cyclist taking part in this years Tour-de-Barchester!
We celebrated in style with a delicious BBQ and live entertainment from the fantastic Eddie.
A big thank you to local councillor Louis Stark, Dementia Matters Here-fordshire and Hereford Cops for joining us in celebration.
Events like these make us realise what a fantastic community we have!
Royal Celebrations!
Residents, Family and Staff all came together recently to celebrate the Kings Birthday with a garden party.
Our beautiful garden played host to this brilliant occasion, with decorations and tasty treats prepared by our talented hospitality team here at Ross Court.
It was a day to remember with live entertainment from the fantastic Mansel, playing many classic songs for all to sing along to.

Celebrating Carers Week
We have been celebrating all the hard work and dedication that our brilliant team do here at Ross Court Care Home.
To show our appreciation, all staff were provided with some delicious treats, sweets and chocolates! This is a small thanks for all their hard work and the difference they make to the lives of our lovely residents at Ross Court.
We also extended the celebrations into our community and shared some goodies with the brilliant domiciliary care providers that are local to us such as Agincare! We hope you enjoy them!
Dementia Talk
In support for Dementia Action week, Ross Court held a community talk with the local charity Dementia Matters. Our Dementia specialist, Leah, from Dementia Matters lead our Dementia Talk.
It was a great opportunity for Staff, residents and the wider community to become more informed on dementia and how they may affect our loved one's. A big thank you to Leah for supporting our home with this event.
VE Day Celebrations
We have been busy celebrating VE day at Ross Court. We celebrated in style with a indoor street party.
Everybody shared memories and talked about their personal memories of VE day such as war time songs and favourite food.
We had the brilliant singer Eddy join us for the afternoon for some brilliant entertainment.
Our talented Head Chef prepared a traditional ploughmans lunch for everyone to enjoy.
Easter at Ross Court
We had a surprise visitor at Ross Court over the Easter Celebrations!
The Easter Bunny paid our lovely residents a visit and delivered some delicious chocolate eggs for everyone to enjoy.
The day was filled with lots of different Easter activities, including Easter card making which our residents thoroughly enjoyed.
Of course on the menu was a traditional Easter roast prepared by our talented Head Chef. It was a wonderful day enjoyed by all!
