Activities at Ross Court Care Home

Activities are the cornerstone of a wholesome home experience, and our Activities Coordinators are always putting their creative minds to the test by organising new and exciting social events for residents to partake in. Of course, we take into account the likes and dislikes of those we support, so if someone doesn’t feel like trying something new, there will always be something on offer to reflect their personal interests. For the people who may just prefer some peace and quiet instead, we also offer one-to-one time that can be enjoyed with a nice cup of coffee or just a simple chat – whatever they desire.

Celebrating Burns Night!

At Ross Court we have been celebrating the Scottish tradition Burns Night. We had the very talented Simon Addison join as he showcased his talent playing the Bag Pipes.

This definitely blew our residents away as they enjoyed the Scottish tradition with a whisky dram.

A crafty visit from the Scouts

At Ross Court Care Home we had the pleasure of welcoming our local scouts group. Our residents and children spent their evening getting crafty and made this brilliant snowman.

At Ross Court we love having different groups from our community visit the home and join in all our different events and activities. The conversation between the different generations is always a joy to see, with discussions around old and new traditions this time of year!

Thank you to our local scouts group for your visit, we look forward to the next visit
