Activities at Tewkesbury Fields Care Home
Activities are an integral part of life at our care home. We want to ensure that the people we support have as much fun as possible during their time with us, so it’s important that our activities programme is created with the interests of residents in mind. Our skilled Activities Coordinators bring a certain uniqueness to the home that can’t be found anywhere else, and which is reflected in the activities they organise.
Paula Lourenco
Hello, my name is Paula and I’m the Activities coordinator at Tewkesbury Fields care home. I’ve joined Barchester healthcare in 2020.
As part of the lifestyle enrichment team, I will be organising daily activities, ensuring that residents have varied activities to choose from each day. I love enriching our residents’ lives, creating memories and be able to provide meaningful activities to each one of the residents living at Tewkesbury fields.
Read our brochure 'Life-enriching activities' for more information about life in our care homes.

Glam Sparrow Rocks!
What an afternoon of up tempo melodies and songs to entertain our residents. With a lot of singing to popular favourites and rocking along to the beat, life in our home is never staid!
Enjoying Winter Life
A stroll in the countryside and admiring the local wildlife, our Resident Ambassador Vivien took in the sights and the fresh air this lovely afternoon. Afterwards over tea, Vivien and Amanda our Activities Co-ordinator, took in the wonderful sights surrounding our home from our sundeck – what a way to enjoy life in our home.
Quarterly Newsletter - Life at our Home
Our Quarterly Lifestyle Newsletter showing what has been going on in our home, is now available - It doesn’t cover everything we have been doing, as there is far too much to list! Our Lindy Bop Afternoon!
This week our resident decided to have lunch in Tewkesbury town and then try out or watch, some Lindy Bop dancing! Cate Cody, Councillor (Tewkesbury North Ward), Borough Councillor, County Councillor (pictured with our team), was at Tewkesbury’s Watson Hall’s Warm hub initiative showing people how it’s done! We can’t wait to go to the next Lindy Bop dance on 28 February.
