Activities at The Warren Care Home
Here at The Warren, our activities team are always very busy thinking of new ways to keep residents active, both physically and mentally. We have regular trips out in the minibus, both locally and further a field, including the London Eye and the Thames River Trip), at least once a week during the summer months. We also enjoy visits from PAT dogs and have professional exercise sessions and live entertainment, which are always popular.

My name is Kirstie and I am lucky enough to be the Activities Coordinator here at The Warren.
I have many years of experience working in care homes in Activities and leisure and lifestyle roles.
I love being part of The Warren team and supporting our residents to live their best lives with fun, interesting, and varied activities available every week. I always feel that the importance of residents' input into our weekly planner is important giving all residents equal opportunity to explore new interests as well as keeping up with previous interests and hobbies.

Duxford Visit
We had the chance to get our veteran Ray Parke to Duxford on the anniversary of his last flight in a Lancaster only 78 years earlier. Here he is on their Canadian built Lancaster. Huge thank you to Dale.
Celebrating International womans day!
To mark #internationalwomensday we went out into the community and gave out home made cupcakes and cards.
They were so well received and we're an utter surprise to most of them.
Its a kinda magic!!
What a fantastic day we had being entertained by The Victorian Conjuror . He was nothing but professional, entertaining, funny and absolutely brilliant. The residents loved it and was so enthralled by his performance.

Big thank you to the wonderful Graham Johns for a fantastic afternoon of entertainment. We sung, we danced, we clapped and we waved our arms... we had a blast!!
Amazing Creatures
Huge thank you to Bert's Amazing Creatures for bringing your little cuties to meet us. We loved them. I was so amazed by how brave our residents are as they are so open to new experiences.
Honey, the most gorgeous rabbit I have ever met..just sparked so many lovely memories in our residents as they kept rabbits as kids, so they loved meeting her.
