Our activities team are great at building the activities programme around the likes and interests of the people we care for. Ensuring that our social events offer fun and adventure is part of the ethos of our home; it’s important that those we support can enjoy an active and social lifestyle. Of course, there will always be those who prefer peace and quiet, and in these instances, a cup of tea and a chat are always welcomed.
Jo Henderson
Hi, my name is Jo Henderson and I am the Activities Coordinator here at Moors Manor.
I am looking forward to bringing my creative side to the home as I was previously a florist and baker and look forward to us making lots of lovely treats for us all to enjoy.
When at home Jo is a mother to two wonderful daughters and also a pet mum to labrador Marley.
I cannot wait to welcome our residents into their wonderful new home and help to bring smiles, joy and laughter to each day.

Life at Moors Manor Care Home
Careers Fair at Ringwood Job Centre
General Manager, Jenna May, and Deputy Manager, Gemma Chalkley, were invited to the local Job Centre to support the local community with job searching and better introduce Moors Manor care home to the Ringwood community.
Scrabble Saturday
Residents at Moors Manor care home have thoroughly enjoyed the game of scrabble and a tipple of Sherry.
Lester Aldridge Solicitors Drop In Clinic
Today Moors Manor care home are hosting a Monthly Drop In Clinic for all your Wills, Powers of Attorney and other legal queries.
We hold monthly clinics every first Friday of the month 2PM-4PM.

Halloween cupcake craziness
Today we were joined by the little tots from #moorsmanormonkeys for their weekly session.
In keeping with the theme of the weekend and Halloween fast approaching. They donned their scary outfits and joined our residents for a morning of cake decorating, apple bobbing and general mayhem. It’s wonderful to watch them all interacting and making new friends young and old.
Sunday Funday
Whilst every day is filled with fun. Residents and our visitors just love playing on our interactive sensory table. As well as stimulating the senses, creating some in-house competition. It’s also a whole lot of fun.
Moors Manor Autumn Fayre
What a fabulous Autumn Fayre Moors Manor hosted!
There was a variety of activities throughout the day to raise funds for YMCA Bournemouth , including serving an absolutely delicious buffet prepared by head chef Mustapha Akab, a raffle, a play golf, a pony visit, and a variety of stalls from different local businesses.

Join us for a great social afternoon and sample delicious cheese and nibbles over a glass of fizz.
