Activities at Moreton Hill Care Home

Our home is always full of life, and we can thank our wonderful Activities Coordinators for this. Dedication to creating a unique and interesting activities programme is what sets us apart from other homes. We always take into consideration that some people would prefer to pursue their own interests, which is why our team strive to incorporative activities that cater to a wide range of tastes and hobbies. Our trips out are always fun and exciting as well, and residents are guaranteed to return with stories to tell their loved ones!

Life at Moreton Hill Care Home

Resident Cats

Three very important Moreton Hill residents are Ulwin, Jerry and Vinnie, the home's cats. Vinnie has been resident here now for over 10 years and what a perfect home, lots of fuss, space and surfaces! Pets are part of the family and we don't just benefit from their company, cat owners have seen improvements in cardiovascular health, along with the soothing purr reducing stress and anxiety.

Double Birthday Celebration

We all love Birthdays at Moreton Hill, so when there was a double celebration for Beryl and Pat's Birthdays everyone was delighted.  It meant two cakes and two very happy ladies!

Jackie's Retirement

Our receptionist Jackie had been a familiar face at Moreton Hill for many years and whilst we are sad to see her retire, we wish her all the best for a long and happy retirement.  Residents and staff enjoyed drink and cake, raising a glass to Jackie, with our General Manager Danney thanking Jackie for all her hard work and commitment to Moreton Hill.

Stunning Hair Cuts

The team at Moreton Hill care for our residents in so many ways, the positive of the last year is the recognition care workers have received. One of our team cut and styled Nancy's hair, she looks stunning and she was delighted with the end result.

Array of Colour at Moreton Hill

The Moreton Hill residents have been working hard in the grounds and court yard gardens adding an array of colour. Our unique location means there is so much to appreciate as you step outside with the stunning views, extensive grounds and visiting ponies. We know our residents are really looking forward to sitting outside with their families in the warmer months ahead.

Sun and Smiles

As the clocks changed the sun came out and although blustery Penny and Evelyn enjoyed some fresh air and the stunning views from the terrace.  It was wonderful to see them enjoying the opportunity as well as having a giggle.
