Activities at Ritson Lodge Care Home

Our home is always full of life, and we can thank our wonderful Activities Coordinators for this. Dedication to creating a unique and interesting activities programme is what sets us apart from other homes. We always take into consideration that some people would prefer to pursue their own interests, which is why our team strive to incorporative activities that cater to a wide range of tastes and hobbies. Our trips out are always fun and exciting as well, and residents are guaranteed to return with stories to tell their loved ones!

Gardening Club

Our talented, green-fingered residents have been hard at work planting flowers, plants and vegetables to decorate our sun balcony.

The weather has been fabulous and we are making the absolute best of it here at Ritson Lodge.

Later this month we are hosting an Open Evening to show off our new cinema and pub, please feel free to drop in on the 18th May at 4pm for a free drink and a tour.

Cinco De Mayo Party

Cinco De Mayo!

We got fully into the spirit at Ritson Lodge as we celebrated one of Mexico's most famous holidays.

Cinco De Mayo for us was a excuse for fantastic music, delicious themed food and a good dance party!

Wonderful Dance Performance

The brilliant team from the Fay Bedford Stage School visited Ritson Lodge and treated our residents and staff to some fantastic performances.

Over a dozen performers took to the stage to entertain residents and show off their skills.

"The performers did a great job and we cannot wait to invite them back to Ritson again soon!"

Golden Bunny Competition

Over the Easter Bank Holiday the team from Ritson Lodge hid dozens of chocolate Easter Bunnies all over Hopton to see who would discover a special Easter treat!

Casey was our Golden Bunny Winner as she found a bunny, posted it to Facebook and had the most liked photo over the Easter weekend! Well done Casey!

Did you spot our Golden Bunnies over the weekend?

Easter Fun

We had a great Easter Bank Holiday at Ritson Lodge with an Easter Egg hunt, live music, decorating the home and garden and creating Easter cards for loved ones.

We enjoyed a sunny Easter Egg hunt through our beautiful gardens before having a party with live music from one of our favourite singers. We've made fantastic Easter cards and also received some from the local schools. And, of course, we've enjoyed plenty of chocolate and hot cross buns!
