Activities at The Wingfield Care Home

Here at The Wingfield our activities team provide a varied and interesting range of activities for all residents. We are registered with the National Activity Providers Association (NAPA) and we take pride in delivering activities that will enhance residents lives and bring happiness and a sense of purpose. Our cooking activities are very popular, as well as the regular book clubs, coffee mornings, skittle matches and bus trips. We provide one to one support for those who are unable to attend activities and we have tea dances, musicians, quizzes, music and movement, as well as our giant scrabble board! But most importantly we have fun! Relatives are always welcome and there is always much laughter and smiling faces during our activities. We take pride in what we do and we continually strive to enhance residents lives through meaningful activity.

Paying our respects to HM Queen Elizabeth

In honour of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, we took the time to commemorate her and pay our tributes to the Royal Family.

In loving memory of the Queen, Residents and staff created a collage of photos of the Queen, along with condolences messages and memory notes

For many of our residents, the Queen represented comfort, hope and peace over the past seven decades of her sovereignty, and she will be sorely missed.

The arrangement's they make are proudly displayed in the dining room and reception. This activity is brilliant for creative stimulation, dexterity, relaxation and the senses.
