Activities at The Wingfield Care Home

Here at The Wingfield our activities team provide a varied and interesting range of activities for all residents. We are registered with the National Activity Providers Association (NAPA) and we take pride in delivering activities that will enhance residents lives and bring happiness and a sense of purpose. Our cooking activities are very popular, as well as the regular book clubs, coffee mornings, skittle matches and bus trips. We provide one to one support for those who are unable to attend activities and we have tea dances, musicians, quizzes, music and movement, as well as our giant scrabble board! But most importantly we have fun! Relatives are always welcome and there is always much laughter and smiling faces during our activities. We take pride in what we do and we continually strive to enhance residents lives through meaningful activity.

Easter Celebrations

The Wingfield enjoyed a range of Easter activities, from egg painting, online live music and games to hot cross buns, tea, and traditional Easter biscuits made by our Head Chef, Jojo Antonio.

Residents also tucked in to a delicious Easter meal of roast beef, served with roast potatoes, vegetables, followed by a lovely dessert.

After being interviewed by BBC Wiltshire, she was treated to her own personal Zoom concert by local group Muzical Entertainerz. She finished the day with a meal and a little glass of fizz.
