Activities at Badgeworth Court Care Home
Our teams are trained to enrich the lives of residents through stimulating the mind, body and soul, and taking the time to learn about each person to ensure everyone receives support that adds enrichment to their life.
Our Activities Coordinators provide a stimulating social programme to suit residents' individual tastes and desires, and offer group or one-to-one activities based on individual preferences. We are a dedicated team that always ensures residents have enough to do to keep them stimulated and entertained. There are regular trips out on the minibus to nearby places of interest, and exercise classes to suit people of all capabilities, in addition to much, much more.

Hello, I am Corinne and I am the activities coordinator at Badgeworth Court. I previously worked in finance and wished to broaden my career. I have diploma in Performing Arts and Business, and I have background in the entertainment industry. I am committed to providing a broad range of activities and events with a focus on person centred care.
As a team we are committed to Barchester's Life Enrichment Programme ensuring we work with mind, body and soul.

Life at Badgeworth Court Care Home
Christmas Garden Centre Trip
Ahead of the Christmas holidays at our home, we organised a trip out and visited the newly opened Dobbie's Garden Centre in Tewkesbury.
The Garden Centre was specially decorated with beautiful festive lights, garlands and wreaths which the residents enjoyed looking at.
We ended our day in the Garden Centre Coffee shop where we enjoyed hot drinks and delicious cakes. Our residents were filled with joy during their visit and there were smiles and laughter all around.

Our lovely residents have been getting busy and really into the spirit of Autumn and have spent their afternoon flower arranging with pumpkins!
It was a brilliant afternoon and our residents thoroughly enjoyed discussing the different flowers and how these change through the seasons.
We love crafty afternoons at Badgeworth Court, it's always lovely to see the master pieces that our residents create.

What a fabulous show we had recently at Badgeworth Court!
The brilliant Nick from Mini Concerts took us on a musical tour of the greatest swing performers of all time.
With hits from Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin it was a joy to see all of our residents swaying and singing along to the music.

Annual Firework celebration!
A big thank you to everyone who attended our annual fire work event this year at Badgeworth Court.
It really was a special event to remember Becky, who was a cherished part of Badgeworth Court for many years.

At Badgeworth Court we love opening our home up and hosting events that friends and family can join us for. Shared experiences are the best experiences and we ensure that our residents remain connected with their loved ones whilst they live with us.
Ballroom Dancers at Badgeworth
We were so excited to welcome Jenny and Terry, who are ex professional ball room dancers.
It was such a lovely afternoon for our residents, with many of them reminiscing about their own times spent on the dance floor.
They dazzled our residents with the performance and of course their professional costumes. It was such a pleasure to see our residents swaying along to the music and even joining Jenny and Terry for a dance.
One of the cornerstones of our life enrichment program is live musical entertainment. Resident involvement in choosing genres along with feedback after each performance means that we are able to constantly improve our activities calendar.
McMillian Coffee Morning
A big thank you to everyone that joined us for our coffee morning today in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support.
We raised a great amount of £74 to put towards an incredible cause.
A big thank you to PianoHedgehog for providing the entertainment. It was so heart-warming to see so many of our lovely residents up dancing and singing along!
