Activities at Claremont Parkway Care Home
Activities are the cornerstone of a wholesome home experience, and our Activities Coordinators are always putting their creative minds to the test by organising new and exciting social events for residents to partake in. Of course, we take into account the likes and dislikes of those we support, so if someone doesn’t feel like trying something new, there will always be something on offer to reflect their personal interests. For the people who may just prefer some peace and quiet instead, we also offer one-to-one time that can be enjoyed with a nice cup of coffee or just a simple chat – whatever they desire.

Hi. My name is Elain and I help to deliver the daily programme of activities and entertainment and celebrations - there is always a birthday to celebrate! I like to see residents making friends and chatting with each other. I have a background in dance, music and acting, and I am also a qualified Zumba instructor, so I love it when we have entertainers in the home. We also have regular visits by therapy pets which residents find very relaxing.

Romantic Menu for Valentine's Day
Happy Valentine's Day from everyone at Claremont Parkway!
We celebrated today with a lovely specialised menu made by our kitchen team and our residents who have other halfs enjoyed a private meal together in the garden lounge. We've gone for a less is more decoration vibe here at Claremont Parkway and our residents and families love it.
Everyone was made to feel special today.
National Pizza Day
Today we celebrated National Pizza Day by cooking with our Chef Vera, she helped us all create our very own pizza's with a variety of delicious toppings. All our staff even got involved to make their creations, which will been enjoyed at tea time tonight!
Ukelele Band Entertains
This afternoon we had the joys of being serenaded by a lovely Ukelele band! Our residents absolutely loved them, they had all everyone tapping their feet and clapping their hands to the songs they played for us
Happy Birthday 'Alan'
We love celebrating birthdays here at Claremont Parkway, Happy Birthday to our cheerful resident; Alan!
Pet Therapy
What a fantastic afternoon! Michelle's Animal petting party you were lovely, our residents were beaming from seeing your animals and we can't thank you enough for our little pet therapy session. We hope to see you again very soon.
Employee of the Month - January 2023
We would all like to congratulate our Housekeeper/Carer Melissa, she has taken on many roles in our home and is always the first one to lend a helping hand where ever is needed.
An example of this is today, Melissa took one of our residents to a hospital appointment and we were beyond proud of her when she returned with a note from the hospital
'I just wanted to write to express how helpful and kind Melissa was when accompanying Hillary today, Melissa reassured Hillary and kept her calm. She is a credit to your workforce.'
