Activities are the cornerstone of a wholesome home experience, and our Activities Coordinators are always putting their creative minds to the test by organising new and exciting social events for residents to partake in. Of course, we take into account the likes and dislikes of those we support, so if someone doesn’t feel like trying something new, there will always be something on offer to reflect their personal interests. For the people who may just prefer some peace and quiet instead, we also offer one-to-one time that can be enjoyed with a nice cup of coffee or just a simple chat – whatever they desire.

Puppy Lola Delights

We had a surprise visit at Claremont today from Lola the dog. Lola is one of our team members dogs. The residents and team loved seeing her and we all enjoyed having a little cuddle with her. She was very well behaved and extremely friendly.

Happy 60th Birthday 'Angela'

Here at Claremont Parkway we feel it is important to mark all milestones in not just our residents' lives but in our team members too. So, today when our lovely CHAP Angela Robertson turned 60 we decided to celebrate with a party.

Manz our official cake making Deputy Manager baked and decorated a delicious cake for everyone to enjoy. Some of our residents even made cards to help Angela celebrate her special day. Happy Birthday Angela, we hope we made working on your birthday something special.

Employee of the Month - July 2022

We would like to say a huge congratulations to Barbara for wining Employee of the Month. Barbara is one of our CHAPs and is a very dedicated member of our team. She also very kindly went to support one of our sister homes.

Barbara is a kind, caring person who is always willing to help out where she can. Well done Barbara you're a star!

Lucia's Tiny Farm Visits

Everyone was very excited to welcome back Lucia's Tiny Farm here at Claremont Parkway. All our residents love having their animal therapy and Senior Carer, Chloe was very excited to see her buddy Bernard the Bearded Dragon back.

We even took Bernard and Bobby the Rabbit round to meet the residents in their room which they absolutely loved.

One-to-one activities in the garden lounge

We have enjoyed some one-to-one craft sessions in the garden lounge at Claremont Parkway which had a beautiful redecoration recently. We made collages of famous people, prompting discussions about our favourite actors, entertainers and sports people.
