Activities at Middletown Grange Care Home
We aim to provide a variety of activities that will both mentally and physically stimulate the people we support. Residents have a range of different needs and interests, and it is crucial that these are reflected in the activities available, so that each individual is able to participate to the best of their ability. We organise both group and individual social events that everyone is welcome to take part in; there is a weekly outing to local places of interest, including the garden centre and the local farms, parks and museums. In addition, we enjoy regular visits from entertainers and even exotic animals. We also host events such as 'Beach Day' that relatives and friends are encouraged to participate in. Getting involved in charities is a big part of our ethos, so events such as 'PJs for Pudsey' and pirate-themed days are regularly hosted to raise money for different foundations, including the Alzheimer’s Society.

Age UK Oxfordshire Scam Event
Wow what an amazing morning we've had here at Middletown Grange. Thank you so much to the team from Age UK Oxfordshire and the support shown to our residents and visitors in avoiding scams and keeping safe. It was very informative and helpful.
A big thank you to Tony The Ventriloquist who braved the heat and put on a fantastic show for everyone!
A great morning by all and even better that the weather was kind for us at our kind cafe!!
New balls please.......
Who doesn't love Pimm's and Strawberries whilst watching the Wimbledon Finals! We indulged in some fresh strawberries and cream to celebrate the finals. Shame we couldn't celebrate the football the same way!
Enjoying the Weather
Making the most of the sunshine and heading to the garden centre. With the weather so lovely we wanted to get out and about but keep well shaded so the garden centre was the perfect place for a spot of lunch and taking in the beautiful flowers. We even brought some back and will be getting them out and about the home ready for the weekend!
Community Café in the sun
Last week we opened our doors again for our Community Café on Friday morning. The sun was shining so we wanted to make the most of the weather by getting outside, and enjoying some fresh tea and cakes with our visitors. Our next Community Cafe will be happening on Friday 19th July where we will be joined by the team from Age UK and a special guest speaker delivering a talk on how to avoid SCAMS.
The Ukulele Band
What a fantastic afternoon we had with The Ukulele Band this week. We love getting involved with the singing and dancing, and the bright shirts definitely went well with the recent sunshine we have been having!
