Activities at Moors Manor Care Home

Our fortnightly community mixer was full of smiles and creativity.

We had a wonderful time flower arranging with our residents, visitors, and our amazing volunteers.

There’s nothing quite like a chat over refreshments while creating something beautiful to bring spring in to our home. A huge thank you to everyone who joined us.

We had a lovely time creating our beautiful spring wreaths and raising money for Lewis-Manning Hospice Care.

It was the perfect way to welcome spring!   

We started our morning enjoying seated Pilates with the wonderful Carly. Pilates offers both physical and mental benefits, including strengthening the core, improving posture, and increasing flexibility.

Here at Moors Manor we have a variety of exercise sessions, including yoga, tai chi and a love to move.    

We had a wonderful time on our latest minibus outing to Upton Country Park. 

It was a joy to explore the gardens and admire all the vibrant flowers, with the wild primroses being a particular favourite for everyone! 

We topped off the afternoon by soaking up the glorious sunshine with some delicious ice creams in the café’s courtyard. 

A perfect day filled with fresh air, nature, and great company.

For our fortnightly coffee morning mixer we were joined by the lovely Hannah.

We were up dancing to all our favourite musical hits, Mary Poppins, My Fair Lady, Sound of music and many more.

We’d like to recognise and thank our wonderful Activity Coordinator Jo. 
Jo provides unique, outstanding activities and experiences she brings to residents every single day. As well as always going above and beyond her role and for this we are truly grateful.

A beautiful sunny drive and a trip down memory lane

We took a scenic drive to Aunt Fanny’s Farmshop & café, soaking up the sunshine and reminiscing as we passed through so many familiar towns.

We enjoyed delicious tea and cake while admiring the hundreds of teapots hanging from the ceiling! Such a lovely, nostalgic day.

We had a wonderful time celebrating our mums, being a mum, and the incredible people we admire! We reminisced as we put our favourite memories onto paper to hang on our Mother’s Day Memory Tree. It was such a special way to share our stories and feel the love in the room.
