Activities at Silverbirch House Care Home
We understand that the people we support have passions and interests that could be difficult to pursue after moving into a care home – but that doesn’t mean we don’t encourage them to try! Some hobbies can define a person, so our Activities Coordinators are dedicated to ensuring that everyone we support is able to do what makes them happy to the best of their abilities. Social events are organised with individual tastes in mind and with the idea that residents have the opportunity to try new and exciting things.

Congratulations, Mihaela Vintan

Arts, Crafts and Gratitude
Today, the residents of Silverbirch House decided to make it a day of appreciation! Using their arts and crafts skills, they created, personalised cards for one another, spreading a bit of gratitude. We always knew Bob was a gift but to emphasise the point today he decorated himself and thus became a "human card"

Our residents at Silverbirch House have been busy flower arranging and building puzzles! Flower arranging boosts mindfulness and creativity, while puzzles help keep the mind sharp and focused. It's all about staying engaged and enjoying life to the fullest! These activities are all part of Silverbirch House's Life Enrichment services.

We love welcoming a variety of wonderful guests to Silverbirch House! Recently, we had the pleasure of hosting The Magic Hat Magician, who amazed everyone with his incredible tricks and kept the crowd spellbound. It’s always a joy to bring fun and excitement to our residents!
