Activities at Tennyson Wharf Care Home
Our activities team are great at building the activities programme around the likes and interests of the people we care for. Ensuring that our social events offer fun and adventure is part of the ethos of our home; it’s important that those we support can enjoy an active and social lifestyle. Of course, there will always be those who prefer peace and quiet, and in these instances, a cup of tea and a chat are always welcomed.

Life at Tennyson Wharf Care Home
999 Take a Break at Tennyson
Lincolnshire's Ambulance service visited Tennyson to take a break and have a cup of tea and slice of cake. This is just one of the wonderful things we offer to all of our 999 services. Keep up the great work!
Christmas Art
Creative Mojo visited us to do some festive Christmas wreaths. The residents each painted leaves and flowers, which were then attached to a cardboard wreath. These are now hung up on our memory lane communities.
Burton Hathow Nativity Play
Children from Burton Hathow Primary School entertained our residents with a wonderful nativity play, followed by a selection of Christmas carols everyone sang along to. We look forward to welcoming teh children back in the near future.
Eric and The Shadows
Eric, and the shadows from the past visited our residents, sang various songs, including festive ones, to which the residents sang and clapped along. Some of them even got up to have a dance too. Everyone had a lovely afternoon.
Trip to Burton Hathow School
Our residents really enjoyed their trip to Burton Hathow School. The children put on a small show about various items that have been used in the past century including different styles of clothes from the 40’s to the 80’s.
Deuce
It was Deuce at Tennyson as our residents battled it out, over a friendly game of balloon tennis. Wimbledon watch out!
